Every block on a page keeps its exact place. It only gains height, so the city you land in is the page you were reading, laid out the same way. Headings stand tallest, images make sturdy towers, and boxes and cards become plinths that their content stands on.
How to move
"I only wanted to read the article. Now I live on top of it."
Things to try on this page
Climb the big title at the top of this page: run straight at it and press Space, and you'll run up its wall and onto the roof. From up there, hold Space and glide down onto the cards. The picture next to this paragraph is a tower too, and the gap between it and this text is a seam you can climb by kicking from wall to wall.

Alt+Shift+Pon any page. Do it again to quit.
This also works in Edge, Brave and Arc. Chrome only installs extensions from outside its store this way, so expect it to remind you that a developer-mode extension is enabled.

Drag this button to your bookmarks bar. Then, on any page, click it to play and click it again to quit.
A few sites with strict security settings (GitHub and X, for example) block bookmarklets. Use the extension there.
